The Wellness Hut has a Covid-19 Risk Assessment. All sessions taking place at The Wellness Hut will be carried out in accordance with current safety guidelines. Each practitioner also has their own stipulations and safety measures in place so please contact your practitioner directly for more info.
Please do not attend or book an appointment at The Wellness Hut if:
– you have been to an affected place in the last 14 days
– you have had contact with someone who has Coronavirus
– you have any of the following symptoms – Cough, Fever or Shortness of breath.
If you need to postpone an appointment because of any of the above please contact your therapist asap.
What can you do to keep yourself fit and well? Give your immune system a boost by eating a balanced diet including lots of fresh fruit and veg and good quality vitamins and minerals. Vitamin D, Vitamin C and Zinc have been found to be useful tools to help keep the body in tip top condition. Stay hydrated with plenty of water or herbal tea (Lemon, Honey and Ginger is a great combination). It’s also advised to get plenty of rest, a good night sleep and keep active with a daily does of exercise.

Also consider your mental health, many people have experienced anxiety and stress related symptoms throughout the past 18 months. When we experience anxiety and stress our bodies go in to fight/flight mode, this can suppress the immune system making us more susceptible to becoming unwell. Try practising deep breathing techniques or listening to a meditation if you start to feel anxiety creeping in. Try taking a digital detox, turn off the tv and news feeds for a little while to reset and recharge.
